Ryan is a technology professional with 16 years in the field of Security and Engineering. Ryan started out writing software for Sprint back in 2000 and continued his journey as a founding member of ScanSafe (acquired by Cisco) in 2008, then Silver Tail (Acquired by RSA) in 2012, and is now the Global Threat Strategist in the office of the CTO at vArmour. Ryan’s focus at vArmour has been on architecting and building the analytics backend and frontend applications. In addition to Ryan’s development work, he also works with research and development to uncover how best to utilize the wealth of data vArmour has access to, which has never previously been visible in Data Centers. Today Ryan is helping write new policies, detect threats, and provide insight into enterprises’ most critical assets.
